Guidelines and criteria for the computation of the Final Degree mark
(DM270/2004 - 6/9/12CFU)

delibera criteria degree mark

The degree mark can be computed according to the formula:

V=M*110/30+C+F whereby:

V

degree mark in 110

M

arithmetic mean of the marks obtained at the exams, each weighted by the number of credits (CFU) of the exam. The computation of M is on the best 130 CFU.

C

additional evaluation ranging in between 0 and 4 given on account of the student curriculum (marks obtained at the characterising exams, number of honors, etc):

M> 24 = 0 Points

M 24-26,499 = 1 Points

M 26,500-27,499 = 2 Points

> 27,500 = 3 Points

F

additional marks ranging from 0 to 7 granted on the basis of the performance during the final exam (quality of the thesis, presentantion etc.)

Honors (cum laude) could be assigned under the condition of an unanimous consensus of all members of the final examination committee, to those candidates with an arithmetic mean of: M*110/30>=102
